I-15 Stateline to Sloan Feasibility Study

Join the Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) in-person for a public meeting on September 9, 2026 to discuss long-term needs and a vision for Interstate 15 (I-15) from stateline to Sloan in southern Nevada.

Southern Nevada’s Key Transportation Link

I-15 is southern Nevada’s economy’s most critical tourism and freight corridor and the primary access route between Southern California and Las Vegas.

The southern portion of I-15 in Nevada, from Stateline to Sloan Interchange, is located just outside the Las Vegas Valley Metropolitan Area, traversing primarily undeveloped land. The project will develop a feasibility study for this section of I-15 from Stateline to Sloan Interchange. The study will:

  • Assess the planned growth and development along the I-15 South corridor and identify opportunities and challenges

  • Evaluate whether the current transportation system can support modeled/anticipated/expected future travel demand

  • Recommend roadway improvements that support growth while reducing congestion in the urban I-15 corridor

  • Develop a long-term plan for transportation improvements and future roadway needs
